Welcome to 2 Blokes Chatting

In early 2020, with COVID-19 starting to gain a foothold in Australia, 94.7 The Pulse announced that it was going to limit live broadcasting to a two-hour period each day "for a few weeks".

Rob Cameron and Neil Butler, who had been presenting separate radio programs every Saturday and had been producing the 2 Blokes Chatting podcast for the previous 12 months, were asked to create a radio program to fill the two-hour time slot every Saturday morning until the COVID restrictions passed.

And so, The 2 Blokes Chatting Radio Show was born.

The COVID restrictions have now passed and, even with the return of the regular program schedule, Rob and Neil are still going strong with almost 200 programs presented since 2020.

And - now they are back for 2024!

How do you describe The 2 Blokes Chatting Radio Show?

Well, to start with, it's a radio show presented by two blokes - that accounts for about 80% of the program name. But the other word - Chatting - has been chosen deliberately to encompass the program's style. Rather than conducting interviews, the 2 Blokes chat with a range of people from regular correspondents to one-off special guests, representing the sport, music and community (especially regional communities) sectors.
